Itinerary

FRIDAY, MARCH 29

MORNING.
This is free time to do as you wish. More cars will be arriving throughout the day. Various groups will be arranging drives, so keep an ear out, or just have fun and explore!

AFTERNOON.

6:30PM: Check In

1. We will start “checking in” registered attendees for our event at 6:30PM.

2. Please check into your cabin/ hotel/BnB first, then come to Fontana Village General Store Parking Lot to get your registration materials, shirt (if purchased), and swag bag from Derek Scott. Note that these are two different check-ins.

EVENING.

8:00PM: Night runs OR swap meet.

1. Meet at 8PM sharp at Deals Gap and look for Brian Bullock and/or Wes Jones - they are in a white Golf GTI and a white 10th gen Accord.

  • You run these at YOUR OWN RISK. DO NOT run The Dragon at night if you do not feel comfortable. HIGHLY EXPERIENCED DRIVERS ARE RECOMMENDED.

    • Plenty of people will be around to hang out with and relax the entire night. The main benefit of night runs is the significantly reduced amount of traffic.

2. If you do not want to go on a night run, you are welcome to hang out at the main resort as people will be there or you can meet at Quill’s Canteen for the swap meet. This is where people will bring their parts they want to sell, if you want to peruse, or buy. You purchase items at your own risk! These private sales have no affiliation with the event, other than us allowing the meetup.

SATURDAY, MARCH 29

Please note that the below waiver must be signed prior to driving in any of our official groups. this will be checked on arrival.

MORNING.
8:00AM: Group photo and drive group line up.
1. Arrive at the bottom of Fontana Dam at 8AM sharp for the group photo and then meet with your assigned driving group. Staff members will be there to assist you. Please follow their instructions, and drive carefully - there are a lot of cars and people in one place.
2. We are bringing in our media team, Merritt Productions, for this. Being on time is very important. If you arrive late, please do not expect us to wait for you; we have a busy day ahead.
3. Once complete, we will leave from Fontana Dam on our main group cruise. We will drive through the Dragon, over the Cherohala Skyway, and have lunch.
