The very first CivicX Wake the Dragon event was held in 2018 by founder, Corey Poole. In 2007, he experienced an 8th generation Civic meet that had a focus on bringing the community together. Inspired by that event and his new interest in his 10th generation Civics, this event came into light, and it became an immediate success. Experiencing the Smokey Mountain twists and turns is always an enjoyable time for everyone, no matter if you’re driving, a professional passenger, or site seeing. There is a saying that goes around our group: “We came for the road, and come back for the people” - and that’s no exaggeration. This event continues to be a unique opportunity to engage with others in the CivicX+ community by sharing the common interest we have of modifying and driving the 10th generation Civics and beyond.
